About MKC
MKC Global Investments is a boutique Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) and
Commodity Pool Operator (CPO) focusing on generating strong and consistent
long-term returns for institutions and high-net worth individuals. Andrew
McCormick oversees MKC Global’s trading, risk management and model
development. He has traded professionally since 2003 in futures, FX, stocks and
equity options. After 2008 he decided to manage outside capital.
Mr. McCormick's investing and trading career grew from an early interest dating
back to elementary school. From that period, his passion grew from two important
roots; his father's pursuit of long-term value investing and the fast paced "high-
tech bubble" environment surrounding the Silicon Valley where he lived during the
1990s. After college, his research into math-based trading systems led to the
development of the current models used for the MKC Global Fund. On occasion,
Mr. McCormick writes investment articles and commentary for TheStreet.com and
ZeroHedge.com.
His interests include trading and developing investment models, skiing, and
producing wine with his family at their winery and vineyard in the Columbia Gorge.
